Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at our Watertown location. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily duties to ensure the smooth operation of our plants and crushing systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure a Safe Work Environment: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate various vehicles, machinery, and equipment used at the site.
  • Assist with Repairs: Assist in repairing and maintaining conveyors, crushers, and plants as needed.
  • Maintain Grounds: Ensure the upkeep of grounds, including grass, weeds, fences, gate areas, and rails/rail ties.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in asphalt manufacturing, concrete manufacturing, or construction is preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge and abilities to perform general repairs on plant equipment using standard industrial tools and understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently required to kneel, climb, bend, stoop, and crawl. Push, carry, and lift 75 pounds or more.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $21.00 per hour
