Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on park facilities, attractions, and equipment.
- Assist park leaders and team members in providing a safe environment for guests and co-workers.
- Follow all operating policies and procedures to ensure safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and repair problems with gasoline, diesel, and electric powered equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all assigned equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation on all repairs and inspections.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and troubleshoot problems.
- Ensure all work conforms to federal, state, and local safety laws.
- Provide excellent guest service and respond to internal requests in a timely manner.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, etc.
- Climb ladders and work at heights.
- Stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Have visual and auditory acuity, plus communication skills needed for park general safety practices.
- High school or equivalency diploma required.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
- Basic computer knowledge and hand/power tool skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in carpentry and painting.
- Heavy equipment operating skills and knowledge.
- Cross-training in other maintenance-related fields.
This is a safety-sensitive position. Applicants must receive a negative result on a 10-panel, pre-placement drug screening to include THC, prior to beginning work.
