As a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) at Visiting Nurse Association of Hanover and Spring Grove, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in their homes. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide personalized therapy and support to patients with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patient needs and develop customized therapy plans to help them achieve optimal health goals.
- Provide training on adaptive and assistive devices, as well as energy conservation techniques.
- Collaborate with patients and caregivers to educate them on daily living skills and therapy objectives.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with Medicare and agency policies.
- Participate in performance improvement and team meetings to ensure high-quality care.
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current Pennsylvania OT license or in the process of obtaining one.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in home health.
- CPR certification.
- A valid PA driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to work in varied home environments.
- A competitive salary range of $70,000-$90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
