Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Medical Solutions. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including fetal heart rate, maternal blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contributing to patient care planning and coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and lab results.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
