Position Overview

SAIC is seeking a Project Management Lead Coordinator to provide support to the Manpower Management Office (MMO) within the Organizational and Management Policy Directorate (O&MPD) under the Office of the Director of Administration and Management (ODA&M). This role requires full-time onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical authority for the maintenance and advancement of system infrastructure, ensuring the effective scheduling of products and services related to the transition and enhancement of the authoritative data system for the ODA&M MMO.
  • Deliver expert guidance in IT system strategic planning, design, transition, operations, and ongoing enhancement of IT services.
  • Draft essential IT authorization documents, plans, and certifications for the operations, maintenance, and development of IT systems that support the MMO mission, including official documentation and requests for approval.
  • Collaborate with network hosts, authorization officials, and IT stakeholders to manage and maintain ATOs and Risk Management Frameworks.
  • Oversee and coordinate multiple interconnected projects to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Engage with primary and secondary service providers, vendors, mission partners, and relevant stakeholders to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and reports for IT systems supporting the MMO mission, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and sustain the system lifecycle plan in accordance with Department and MMO priorities.
  • Work closely with user community stakeholders to refine system requirements and prioritize customer-recommended features.
  • Monitor and manage system interconnections with other Department of Defense platforms.
  • Support system Change Control Board (CCB) decisions and their implementation.
  • Possess knowledge of best practices for IT Service Management (ITSM), DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework (DESMF), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and ISO 20000 international standards.

Qualifications

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance is mandatory.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the Department of Defense.
  • 5 years of IT experience on large-scale Federal programs, with practical knowledge of project management office processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and experience working with senior Department of Defense leadership.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively to provide solutions to customer challenges and resolve issues efficiently.
