Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and knowledge that foster the culture, values, and mission of Great Life Distributors, Inc.
  • Maintains composure during busy periods or unexpected events to uphold store standards and set a positive example for the team.
  • Proactively assesses customer and store needs by continuously observing the environment and customer cues.
  • Communicates pertinent information to the team leader to facilitate appropriate responses from the team.
  • Aids in training new associates by positively reinforcing successful behaviors and providing respectful coaching as necessary.
  • Contributes to a positive team atmosphere by identifying changes in associate morale and performance and relaying them to the store manager.
  • Provides outstanding customer service to all patrons.
  • Adheres to operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety protocols, to ensure the well-being of all associates during shifts.
  • Maintains an organized and appealing display for customers to explore products.
  • Receives product deliveries, which may require lifting items up to 30 lbs.
  • Complies with the established dress code.
  • Guides customers through a selection of gourmet chocolates, fudge, and other food items at retail locations or events.
  • Observes health, safety, and sanitation regulations for all products.
  • Acknowledges and celebrates individual and team achievements using existing organizational methods.
  • Maintains consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Strives to meet and exceed sales and service objectives.
Qualifications

Experience Summary
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Previous experience in high-volume sales is preferred.
Basic Requirements
  • Must maintain regular attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Must comply with store operating policies and standards, including product handling, cash management, and safety protocols, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must engage with and understand our customers, responding to their needs through clear and friendly communication.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Must be available to perform various tasks within the store during each shift.
