Theatre Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Theatre Technician to join our team at INTRUST Bank Arena. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stage equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload props and materials from our dock area.
• Set up lighting, props, and microphones for various productions.
• Move and rearrange furniture to meet the needs of each event.
• Set up risers and musical equipment for concerts and performances.
• Clean up the stage and backstage area before and after events.
• Report to the Union Steward upon arrival to work for an event.

Requirements:

• General knowledge and experience in proper handling of theatrical and entertainment tools, equipment, and systems.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads, walk, stand, sit, crouch, bend, stretch, and reach.

Additional Requirements:

• Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Position is a referral of Local 190 union and is subject to pay referral fee and dues directed by the Local 190 and the work referral system in effect.
• This is an hourly position that will be subject to collectively bargained union rules.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Rigger background a plus.
