Requirements

Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist will:

  • Ensure a safe environment within MRI Safety Zones.
  • Maintain proficiency in IV starts for contrast administration.
  • Document exams accurately in the EMR system.
  • Assist in the care of patients undergoing moderate and deep sedation.
  • Participate in standby rotation as required.
  • Provide age-appropriate care for patients across all life stages.
  • Keep a detailed log of patients, procedures, and any complications.
  • Understand and apply the physics of MRI technology.
  • Conduct quality control functions in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Support physicians as needed and assist with patient scheduling.
  • Transport patients as necessary.
