About This Role
Pivotal Solutions Inc is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in working with business partners and other IT team members to determine the future direction of all applications based on our requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for applying advanced knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and effective ways. You will become a subject matter expert in more than one area of responsibility, representing the team within and outside the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and effective ways
- Conduct product research, evaluate new software products against requirements
- Oversee Data Warehouse operations, troubleshoot and fix issues
- Assist with project planning; provide technical expertise to team members and/or vendors
- Define, develop, communicate, and implement standards, processes, and procedures for the team or department
- Establish, maintain, and foster relationships both within and outside the team, department, and our vendors
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
- 5 or more years of experience in data analysis, problem solving, script writing, reporting, and data warehouse
- 3 or more years of SQL query development experience
Preferred Qualifications
A background in Power Apps, Power BI, and PowerShell, as well as knowledge of Office 365 products, including SharePoint online and Excel, is highly desirable.
