RedMatter Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity and Access Governance Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced engineer to configure, customize, integrate, deploy, administer, and support Okta tenants in client production environments. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in implementing Identity and Access Governance solutions that provide advanced authentication services and ensure secure information distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Okta Configuration and Integration: Install, integrate, and deploy Okta solutions in client environments.
  • Passwordless Authentication: Implement authentication services such as passwordless authentication leveraging PIV/CAC/Smartcard technologies.
  • Technical Architecture: Develop technical architectures for integrating identity management, access management, and access governance software into client infrastructure and applications.
  • Documentation: Document configuration and build procedures.
  • Programming Languages: Utilize programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, and SQL.
  • Oktas Capabilities: Utilize Oktas capabilities such as workflow and SSO to enable authentication and authorization services.
  • Risk Management: Enable federal, state, local, and higher education clients to protect against digital identity risks using IAM programs.
  • Access Control: Provide appropriate access to applications, systems, and data with advanced authentication mechanisms.
  • Privileged Access Management: Oversee privileged access management to ensure the security of sensitive resources.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to changing priorities and multitask to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a distributed team, often communicating virtually to support IAM applications.
  • Complex Problem-Solving: Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls, and opportunities for internal control improvement, with a focus on SAML 2.0.
  • Certification: Maintain Okta certification (Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified Administrator).
  • Azure AD Experience: Demonstrate experience with Azure AD or similar access management products from Okta, Ping, ForgeRock, etc.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in installing, integrating, and deploying Okta solutions.
  • Skills: Familiar with SCIM, SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, biometrics, PIV/CAC/Smartcard authentication.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Experience working with cloud infrastructures, such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages including REST API, AWS, Jenkins, Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, and SQL.
  • Identity & Access Governance: Proficiency in Identity & Access Governance, access control, and access request processes.
  • Technical Architecture: Technical architecture experience integrating identity and access management solutions into client infrastructure.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Communication: Ability to work independently and remotely, while maintaining strong communication with the team.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
