Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at SoundWay. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex computer systems within a hybrid cloud and non-cloud enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct systems upgrades and migrations.
  • Troubleshoot issues by identifying the root cause, defining a resolution, and working to successfully resolve.
  • Apply a deep understanding of system administration, infrastructure, and network architecture to ensure efficient, reliable, and optimal systems operations and uptime.
  • Perform regular systems backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Configure and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Conduct system performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure scalability.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant major.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working in a Systems Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience with system administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud computing platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including troubleshooting problems and identifying root cause.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
