About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Anne Arundel County. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits to assess and diagnose clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and physician orders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services.
  • Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities to promote health, safety, and independent living.
  • Accurately document client care and services provided using electronic medical records.
Requirements
  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
