JGM Fabricators & Conductors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabrication Foreman to join our team. As a Fabrication Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and leading a team of fabricators to achieve production goals.

• Manage overall production, quality, safety, and employee relations.
• Lead repair and maintenance to keep the plant operational.
• Assist in staffing and interviewing new employees.
• Provide leadership to staff through effective communication, coaching, training, and development.
• Enforce all safety regulations and company policies.
• Execute all activities related to shop fabrication as directed by the Plant Manager.
• Ensure production plans are in place and closely monitor job progress.
• Review shop detail drawings for opportunities to increase productivity.
• Maintain levels of shop consumables and PPE.
• Implement continuous improvement opportunities.

• Minimum of five (5) years of managerial/supervisory experience in a fabrication shop.
• Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in fabrication overseeing between 5 to 15 fabricators, operators, helpers, welders, and/or apprentices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of structural fabrication.
• Ability to stimulate and motivate your crew while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
• Desire to learn and ability to teach and develop others.
• Close and friendly follow-up style to ensure high quality standards and the development of the team.
• Ability to closely focus on guidelines, structure, and established policies.
• Must possess a "how can I help you?" attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves when necessary to help.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• OSHA 10 a requirement.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must complete OSHA 30 upon hiring.

• Requires prolonged walking, standing, sitting, bending, squatting, stooping, climbing, regular lifting and carrying to move up to 100 lbs., talking, hearing, reaching, feeling, grasping, and push/pulling.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions/temperatures.
• Climb stepladders and extension ladders and stairs and work from a raised platform.
• Operate tools properly and safely.
• Regular mental and visual attention much or all the time with manual coordination.
