Job Summary

The Indianapolis Zoo is seeking a part-time Marketing Sales Assistant to support the Marketing department in a variable hourly role. This position will assist with administrative tasks, sales, and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing department, including answering inquiries, taking messages, and conducting on-site prospect/client tours.
  • Assist with on-site promotions and events, as well as corporate and social events, including weddings.
  • Support the Group Sales team with venue/space reservations and group ticket requests.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support marketing efforts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
