Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a Speech Language Pathologist PRN, you will provide inpatient and/or outpatient speech language pathology services, including diagnostic and clinical assessments, treatment plans, and education to patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive examinations of patients using appropriate tests and measures.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Provide evidence-based quality patient treatment and education.
  • Monitor patient physiological status during sessions.
  • Collaborate with medical multidisciplinary teams.
  • Document and submit charges for services rendered.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain within one month of hire.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of starting the role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience with video fluoroscopy and FEES.
  • One year of adult/acute care experience.
