Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Effingham Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nurses in planning, coordinating, and managing clinical services for residents.
  • Implement care plans in accordance with TJC, federal, state, and local guidelines, as well as organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff, other departments, and outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level of Education: Equivalent to high school completion and completion of Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Training course of study.
  • Training: Management skills with experience in planning, organizing, implementing, facilitating, interviewing, counseling, and verbal and written communications.
  • Licensure, Certification, Registration: Must have and maintain an unencumbered Georgia Registered Nurse or LPN license and Basic Life Support CPR certification.
  • Work Experience: One to two years of related experience and/or training is preferred.
