About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facility Housekeeper to join our team at U-Haul. As a Facility Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a positive experience for our customers and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping services for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, and other areas
  • Dispose of trash and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
