Key Responsibilities:
  • Order and retrieve medications from the pharmacy, ensuring all pharmaceuticals are stocked and within their expiration dates.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all assigned areas on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and manage anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for procedures.
  • Participate in room turnover to minimize downtime between surgical cases.
  • Conduct decontamination of areas post-procedure.
  • Change anesthesia circuits and suction as required.
  • Set up specialized monitoring lines for surgical cases.
  • Coordinate maintenance of anesthesia machines with Biomedical personnel.
  • Prepare equipment for the transport of critically ill patients.
  • Keep specialty carts organized and maintain a daily log of refrigerator temperatures in relevant work areas.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and standards as outlined by regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
