We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Tank Wagon Operator to join our team at Diesel Direct Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering diesel fuel to our customers while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Safe Operations: Operate tank trucks in accordance with all applicable traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Fuel Delivery: Accurately deliver diesel fuel to customer locations, ensuring proper metering and documentation.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily inspections of tank trucks, including checking fluid levels, tires, and lights. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, including customer signatures and delivery tickets.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement
- Experience operating tank trucks or other commercial vehicles
- Strong safety record and commitment to safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically able to perform lifting and climbing
