Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Monitor and manage patient medications, treatments, and therapies, and communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • ED experience required.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
  • TNCC and NRP preferred.
