Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Role

We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Valor Healthcare, Inc.
Job Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and medical treatment under the direction of a supervising physician.
- Diagnose and treat patients with diseases and injuries in the clinic.
- Develop and implement patient management plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Order and perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and provide follow-up care as needed.
- Counsel patients on prescription medications, educate them on health maintenance, and assess mental health issues.
- Evaluate patient records from outside medical providers and work with patients according to VA guidelines for co-managed care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and a Master's degree in Nursing Practice (MSN) is required.
- Certification by a professional organization is necessary.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a CRNP in a primary care or ambulatory care setting, preferably in a government healthcare environment, is required.
- Credentialed and in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
- Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment or any U.S. state or territory, depending on VA contractual requirements.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS as specified by individual VAMC contract.
- Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong computer skills.
- An energetic and optimistic demeanor.
- A strong service mentality and focus on achieving all aspects of defined service standards.
The salary for this role is $120,000 per year, providing a competitive compensation package that includes excellent benefits, generous time off, and a weekday schedule.
