About the Role: We are seeking a talented Sr. Software Engineer to lead the development of industry-leading technology in our Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) fine tuning team. The ideal candidate will have a strong machine learning background and experience with leading design or architecture of new and existing systems. This position requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science and Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with other team engineers to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility.
  • Leverage Amazon's heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate development of multimodal Large Language Models and Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions.
  • Collaborate with Applied Scientists on LLM fine tuning experiments and prototypes to build automated training workflows.

Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $151,300 in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500 in our highest geographic market. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
