Job Summary

The Clinical Operations Coordinator will oversee clinical support operations, ensuring effective staffing and collaboration with nursing personnel across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective nursing staff coverage within budgetary constraints
  • Assist in determining staffing requirements between locations
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and screening of clinical personnel
  • Review and revise clinical policies and procedures
  • Verify documentation to ensure proper charges
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for clinical staff
  • Certify working knowledge of labor laws and schedules
  • Coordinate employee staffing, including vacations, sick leave, and overtime
  • Ensure nurses maintain required competencies on an annual basis

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred
  • Current MN licensure and registration required
  • Current or pending OCN certification preferred
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred

Working Conditions

This role is based in a traditional office environment. The work involves exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other conditions common to an oncology clinic environment. The physical demands require full range of body motion, including handling patients, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, as well as standing and walking for extended periods.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
