We are seeking a qualified Personal Care Home Administrator to oversee the operations of our Kohler Personal Care Home (KPCH), which accommodates eight residents. This full-time role involves supervising the Direct Support Professionals and ensuring the overall management of the facility. The Administrator will report directly to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the KPCH, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all residents while implementing relevant policies and procedures.
- Oversee the physical environment, recommending improvements and coordinating maintenance and cleaning efforts.
- Provide direct supervision, training, and performance evaluations for Direct Support Professionals.
- Coordinate staff schedules and facilitate on-the-job training for team members.
- Maintain attendance and payroll records for Direct Support Professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including Chapter 2600/Personal Care Homes.
- Be available for emergency situations and provide residential coverage as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a license as a Registered Nurse from the Department of State.
OR
- Must hold a license as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Department of State with at least one year of relevant experience.
OR
- Must have an Associate's Degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited institution.
OR
- Must be licensed as a nursing home administrator by the Department of State.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid PA Driver's license.
