We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Donor Screener and Phlebotomist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services in DeKalb, IL.

About the Role:

As a Plasma Donor Screener and Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while collecting high-quality plasma. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Screening new and repeat donors to ensure their safety and eligibility for plasma donation
  • Conducting phlebotomy procedures to collect plasma from donors
  • Recording donor vital signs and finger stick results
  • Using our Donor Information System to maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation
  • Identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing changes to center processes

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • The ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1)
  • 1 or more years of experience working in a customer or patient-facing role (preferred)
