Job Overview

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is actively seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the current National Electrical Code.
  • Accurately identify wire colors.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as necessary, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and other safety gear.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and workspaces are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
  • Engage in physical activities such as bending, stooping, and balancing while installing electrical components.
  • Handle the lifting, positioning, and securing of various electrical materials and fixtures.
  • Pull electrical wire of varying gauges, with or without assistance.
  • Work in confined spaces and restricted areas, often requiring awkward positioning.
  • Perform tasks at heights using ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lifts as needed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to bend and install conduits effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
  • Possession of necessary tools, including cordless impact tools.
  • Ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
  • Capability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
