The Maintenance Worker is a vital member of the New Life Center team, responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our campus and Hope's Closet store. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a commitment to upholding the mission and values of New Life Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Manage the care and upkeep of landscaping on site.
  • Respond to maintenance work requests and complete tasks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and productive environment.
  • Perform a variety of labor-related tasks and other assignments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to 2 years of general facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and related systems.
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety codes and regulations.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license and insurance.
  • Currently possess or ability to successfully obtain Level 1 fingerprint clearance through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
  • CPR/1st Aid/Bloodborne Pathogen Certified.
  • Negative TB test required.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination or approved exception.
