Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing CT scans and other radiologic procedures.
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
  • Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols.
Experience Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiologic technology.
  • An active BLS certificate.
  • ARRT (CT) and (R) certifications.
  • A Fluoroscopy certification.
Work Schedule

Radiology Technologists will typically work:

  • 8-hour shifts with patients scheduled at a rate of 1 per hour.
  • Weekend shifts may be required based on proficiency.
  • Graveyard shifts available depending on experience.
  • Holiday coverage will be managed through on-call arrangements.
Unit Information

The Radiology unit at Sequoia Hospital includes:

  • A team of Rad Techs, U/S Techs, and Mammography Techs.
  • Utilization of Cerner EMR for patient records.
  • Typical staffing of 15 Radiology Technologists per 24-hour period.
  • Use of advanced imaging equipment including Siemens 64 slice and 128 slice CT scanners.
Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided by the hospital. While advanced certifications and venipuncture experience are advantageous, they are not mandatory.
