Job Title: Securities Trade and Reconciliation Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Securities Trade and Reconciliation Analyst to join our Investment Data Integrity team at MassMutual. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our investment data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor trade ingestion from all sources into our Investment Accounting System, resolving issues 'on the fly' or working with business partners to resolve.
  • Understand and maintain Security Master File details and update as needed across all asset types.
  • Process manual trade activity when needed and follow appropriate controls.
  • Perform daily trade and security master reconciliations, identifying breaks and root cause for remediation, escalating to appropriate partners when needed.
  • Develop business acumen regarding corporate actions, paydowns, and income payments and how activity flows through our systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related area.
  • 5+ years of experience in investment operations processes and related data workflows.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Eagle PACE or like Data Management Tool.
  • Knowledge of Eagle STAR or like Investment Accounting platform.
  • Expert user of Excel.
  • Knowledge of SQL/Oracle query tools.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Microstrategy or other reporting tool experience a plus.
