Job Summary

SkyBridge Healthcare Therapy is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team on a travel assignment in California.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
  • Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities, and develop individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Implement treatment plans using a variety of techniques, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a COTA in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move patients as needed.
