About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Hendersonville. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing radiology exams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiology exams and document proper charges in two modalities.
  • Instruct and prepare patients for x-ray and/or other examinations.
  • Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns, and extraneous radiation to patients.
  • Determine most suitable anatomical posture and positions and shields patients accordingly.
  • Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure and makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
  • Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
Requirements
  • Deemed competent to perform in two modalities in Diagnostic Imaging required.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required.
  • Registered in ARRT or specific modality required.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Required
  • Graduate of an accredited 2-year Allied Health program required.
  • 1 Year X-Ray experience
