Job Title: Electrophysiology Lab Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Lab Nurse to join our team at Planet Healthcare. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Electrophysiology Lab Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the electrophysiology lab, performing procedures such as electrocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and electrophysiology studies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the electrophysiology lab, including performing procedures and administering medications as ordered by the physician.
  • Conduct electrocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and electrophysiology studies as ordered by the physician.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • 2+ years of experience as an RN in an electrophysiology lab or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
