Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Process Mechanic to join our team at Velocity Enterprises. As a Process Mechanic, you will be responsible for setting up and preparing extrusion lines, starting the process after tool change, troubleshooting production process issues, performing maintenance and repairs on extrusion lines and peripherals, and optimizing production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and preparation of extrusion lines, including extruders, cutting systems, winders, and other equipment
  • Start-up and operation of extrusion lines, ensuring smooth and efficient production
  • Troubleshooting and resolving production process issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing output
  • Maintenance and repair of extrusion lines and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Optimization of production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase productivity and quality
Requirements
  • Completed technical education in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or plastic processing
  • Strong understanding of extrusion processes and equipment, with experience in a similar role
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a clean room and in a 2-shift system
