Job DescriptionAs a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Behavioral Health Adolescent Unit, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team built on teamwork, compassion, and the goal of Moving Health Forward for patients. You'll work closely with children and adolescents, helping them develop coping skills and achieve their goals. This role emphasizes critical thinking, autonomous professional nursing practice, and a passion for helping patients overcome mental health challenges.
Required Skills & QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have experience working with children ages 5 to 12 years old and adolescent ages 13 to 17 years old, as well as their families. You must possess a passion for helping patients with conditions such as Addiction, Anxiety Disorders, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and Depression or Suicidal behavior. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also essential.
