About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loan Operations Associate to join our Alternative Operations team at AllianceBernstein. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to our Broadly Syndicated Loans Operations and AB's Broadly Syndicated CLO Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily operational support to our Private Debt Business Units, ensuring seamless execution of loan administration tasks.
  • Support all aspects of loan administration, including commercial estate, middle market direct lending, and broadly syndicated loans.
  • Collaborate with portfolio management teams to provide cash management support, assisting with closing activities and coordinating transaction activity among stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality control and maintain data oversight of internal and external asset record keeping.
  • Participate in projects aimed at automation and process improvements related to loan closings, trade workflow, deal tracking, position reconciliations, and cash management.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience in investment management or financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of loan administration practices.
  • Experience with WSO and ClearPar (preferred).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and extremely thorough with strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time to complete deliverables timely and accurately.
  • Team-oriented individual with the ability to work well across diverse groups in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
