Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Kroger. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for performing general product preparation, clean-up, and stock work in the Meat department, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process meat products, including cutting, grinding, slicing, and packaging.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and health department regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Unload trucks, sort orders, and place products in the proper cooler location.
  • Wash and sanitize equipment, adhering to company and health department policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and profit goals, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a meat cutting or grocery store environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing.
