Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of verified experience in maintenance roles.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- Capable of working in confined, elevated, noisy, hot, and hazardous environments.
- Must be able to operate safely while utilizing a respirator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replace damaged or missing ceiling tiles throughout the facility, addressing both self-identified issues and those specified in daily work orders.
- Utilize skills from various trades, including plastering, carpentry, and painting.
- Install, repair, or replace doors and windows, ensuring all hardware, such as locksets and closers, is included.
- Apply various floor coverings and baseboards as needed.
- Install signage and warning devices on walls, posts, and other structures.
- Conduct major repairs and overhauls on various types of locks, including cylinder locks, padlocks, and electric locks.
- Perform inspections and routine maintenance on assigned areas of responsibility.
- Construct and frame walls, applying drywall, mud, tape, and plaster as necessary.
- Patch and paint different surfaces to maintain facility aesthetics.
- Measure, cut, and repair wood or wood substitute materials as required.
- Follow written work orders, with or without accompanying sketches or blueprints, to complete tasks.
- Install protective wall coverings, corner guards, and handrails to enhance safety.
- Work with various materials, including wood, gypsum board, and concrete, to complete projects.
- Modify and repair furniture items as needed.
