We are seeking a Nursing Care Professional to join our team at Lancaster General Health. This is a part-time position with a rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Overview

The Nursing Care Professional will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care strategies
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care provided
Requirements
  • RN licensure in Pennsylvania or temporary practice permit
  • BSN degree preferred; Magnet designated RN positions require BSN or higher level nursing degree
  • One year of experience in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
