About the Role

Sparity Health is seeking a highly skilled CVOR travel nurse to join our team in Alexandria, Louisiana. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced surgical setting and provide top-notch care to patients undergoing various procedures.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering individualized nursing care to patients having surgical interventions. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care delivered to assigned patients. Effective communication between the nurse, patient, staff, supervision, physicians, anesthesia providers, and other hospital departments is essential.

Requirements

  • One year of recent experience in the surgical setting is required.
  • Five years of surgical scrub experience are necessary.
  • Current Louisiana RN License is mandatory.
  • Current BLS Card is required.
  • ACLS Certification is also necessary.

Work Schedule

The selected candidate will work Monday through Friday with alternating call during the week and one weekend per month. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 32 hours per week, subject to confirmation.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
