We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist to join our team at Medical Network of Alaska, LLC. As an Orthopedic Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in improving the quality of life for our patients through expert orthopedic care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans to help patients recover from illnesses and injuries.
- Perform treatments and exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and billing.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and stay up-to-date with professional development opportunities.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical or Occupational Therapy degree.
- Valid state of Alaska professional license.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- New graduates welcome.
- Must reside in or near Anchorage, Alaska.
- Outpatient experience preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR software and Outlook programs.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
