Job Title: Local Class A P&D Truck Driver

A. Duie Pyle, Inc is seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Local Class A P&D Truck Driver in Burlington, VT. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $33.85 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a day cab tractor pulling various trailer sizes to customer locations
  • Perform lift gate deliveries, including unloading and loading at stops as needed
  • Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, adhering to all FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines
  • Build relationships through excellent communication with customers
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Valid Hazmat endorsement
  • Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience
  • Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
  • Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
