We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design and licensing of mechanical and nuclear systems and components for nuclear power plants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing modifications packages for operating nuclear power plants
- Creating system and component performance specifications
- Preparing functional mechanical drawings and/or drawings for nuclear power plant systems
- Conducting engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation of plant systems
- Evaluating technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment
- Assessing vendor bids for plant equipment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the power industry
- A working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to mechanical engineering design of nuclear power plants
