LPN II-Clinic Position

Covenant Health Inc. is seeking a skilled LPN II-Clinic to provide professional clinical care to patients in an outpatient setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work under the supervision of attending providers and practice office managers to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions, take vital signs, and record weight.
- Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments, including phlebotomy, injections, suturing, and other office procedures.
- Administer patient medications as ordered, ensuring accurate dosage, route, site, and documentation.
- Orient, instruct, and train assigned personnel as needed.
- Provide basic patient care as ordered and ensure timely communication of test results.
- Demonstrate patient comfort and privacy by using AIDET fundamentals of communication.
- Document all interventions, patient responses, medication dispensed, and other relevant information in the medical record.
- Promote wellness by providing patient education materials and communicating provider advice and instructions.
- Triage patient phone calls and appointments, ensuring accurate urgency and scheduling.
- Ensure adequate supply stock and maintain equipment in clean operating condition.
- Monitor and maintain accuracy of patient medical records, reports, and statistics.
- Maintain confidentiality in matters regarding the practice, patients, and employees.
- Utilize various office and medical equipment, including telephones, computers, fax machines, stethoscopes, EKG machines, and basic lab equipment.
- One year of experience as an LPN required.
- Licensure as an LPN in the state of Tennessee required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
