Job Title: Language Pathology Specialist

Soliant Health is in search of a committed full-time Language Pathology Specialist for a school environment. The preferred candidate will possess at least 1+ years of experience in speech therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations to determine communication impairments and create tailored intervention strategies
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to students facing speech, language, and communication difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with educators, guardians, and specialists to integrate speech and language objectives within the classroom
  • Track student advancement and modify intervention techniques as necessary
  • Keep comprehensive records of evaluations, progress documentation, and treatment strategies

Job Description & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an educational setting is advantageous
  • Active California SLP License is mandatory
  • Guaranteed hours for both direct and indirect services
  • Experience with students diagnosed with Autism is crucial

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to secure ASHA certification
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Dedication to ongoing professional growth and evidence-based methodologies
