The Clinical Research Coordinator plays a vital role in the management and execution of clinical trials at Lung Innovations Network. This position is essential for ensuring the integrity and compliance of research activities.
Key Responsibilities- Trial Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical trials from initiation to completion.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements governing human subject research.
- Patient Interaction: Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and recruit eligible patients for participation in trials.
- Education and Training: Provide in-service training to clinic personnel involved in the investigational studies.
- Participant Support: Educate patients and their families about the clinical trial process and requirements for participation, ensuring informed consent is obtained.
- Data Management: Collect, maintain, and securely store all relevant clinical data and documentation in accordance with sponsor and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitoring and Follow-Up: Conduct necessary follow-up and active monitoring of patients as per study protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate source documents and subject files, ensuring comprehensive data compilation through chart reviews.
- Protocol Adherence: Assist the Principal Investigator in daily research activities, including confirming informed consent and managing study information.
- Preparation for Audits: Prepare for monitoring visits and ensure all documentation is in order.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a related field is required, with a preference for experience in Pulmonology.
