Position Overview

The Clinical Research Coordinator plays a vital role in the management and execution of clinical trials at Lung Innovations Network. This position is essential for ensuring the integrity and compliance of research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Trial Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical trials from initiation to completion.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements governing human subject research.
  3. Patient Interaction: Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and recruit eligible patients for participation in trials.
  4. Education and Training: Provide in-service training to clinic personnel involved in the investigational studies.
  5. Participant Support: Educate patients and their families about the clinical trial process and requirements for participation, ensuring informed consent is obtained.
  6. Data Management: Collect, maintain, and securely store all relevant clinical data and documentation in accordance with sponsor and regulatory guidelines.
  7. Monitoring and Follow-Up: Conduct necessary follow-up and active monitoring of patients as per study protocols.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate source documents and subject files, ensuring comprehensive data compilation through chart reviews.
  9. Protocol Adherence: Assist the Principal Investigator in daily research activities, including confirming informed consent and managing study information.
  10. Preparation for Audits: Prepare for monitoring visits and ensure all documentation is in order.
Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a related field is required, with a preference for experience in Pulmonology.
