Job Title: CNC Programmer

Primus Metals Inc is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, designing programs, and setting up machines to produce high-tolerance, complex geometry parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret blueprints and design programs for CNC machines
  • Set up machines to produce components outlined in the program
  • Maintain, debug, and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure smooth operation
  • Collaborate with machinists and operators to ensure efficient production
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve quality
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience programming CNC Mills and Lathes
  • Experience with CNC Lathe, Mill Turn, and 3- and 5- axis milling machines
  • Proficient in Mastercam 2020
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Proven cycle time reduction and program optimization
