Our Manufacturing Facility

Our Taneytown, MD Pump Manufacturing facility is a state-of-the-art facility covering over 150,000 square feet. It provides capability for engineering, design, customer service, machining, assembly, and testing for a diverse product portfolio serving all markets (power, oil & gas, water resources, general industry, and chemical).

The facility has undergone expansions four times since its opening in 1971 to accommodate revenue growth and product line developments.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Taneytown, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of manual lathes and exposure to CNC machines, as well as experience working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and well-organized work areas while operating manual and CNC machines efficiently and safely.">
• Achieve accurate machining results within a tolerance of +/- .001.">
• Utilize precision measuring equipment and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and finishes during the application of machining.">
• Work effectively in a team-oriented environment and adhere to all safety procedures and policies.">

Requirements

• ">
• 3-5 years of experience in machining, preferably in a manufacturing or repair environment.">
• Experience using and interpreting precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.">
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and finishes during the application of machining.">
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow complex verbal and written instructions.">
• Able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive arm motions, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.">
• Ability to work overtime as required.">
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant years of experience in lieu of education.">

Estimated Salary Range

$26.17 - $39.26 USD per hour, based on location and experience.
