Job Overview

Position: Porter/Groundskeeper

The purpose of this job description is to outline the responsibilities and tasks associated with the role of Porter/Groundskeeper. While this description aims to be comprehensive, it is important to note that additional duties may arise as needed to meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property by regularly cleaning and removing litter, debris, and other waste.
  • Assist other staff members in property management tasks as directed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and maintaining common areas such as the pool, laundry room, and pathways.
  • Engage in preventive maintenance by checking and replacing exterior lighting as necessary.
  • Participate in training programs and complete all required courses to enhance skills and knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to be on feet for extended periods and perform physical activities such as bending, climbing, and lifting.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 lbs consistently.

Work Environment:

  • Work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Occasional exposure to paint fumes and other maintenance-related substances.

This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining the property and ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents and visitors.
