Position Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining, and testing software applications tailored for the Advised Affluent Offering. This role also involves supporting various business units or functions related to online benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage in the design, development, and execution of intricate applications, frequently utilizing cutting-edge technologies, software, hardware, and tools.
2. Collaborate with offshore teams and work alongside other developers and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of software applications.
3. Operate with minimal supervision while providing application support as needed.

Technical Skills Required:
- 8-10 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot and Core Java, with experience in developing J2EE applications using JSP and Servlets.
- Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
- Experience deploying J2EE applications on application servers like WebSphere, Tomcat, or Apache.
- Knowledge of Web APIs and client-side technologies including Handlebar, AngularJS, React, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of the Groovy Framework is advantageous.
- Experience with automated unit testing tools and database technologies such as Oracle and T-SQL.
- Previous experience in the financial sector is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a readiness to take on additional responsibilities and projects.
