Role Overview: As the Memory Care Program Manager, you will oversee the management of 12 apartments, ensuring that residents' health and well-being are prioritized in a nurturing and secure environment. We seek a proactive and experienced leader who is passionate about engaging residents daily.
This is a Full-Time Opportunity. A current Med Tech certification is required to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct resident services and manage medication as necessary.
- Schedule and supervise resident care staff effectively.
- Coordinate and oversee the completion of daily tasks.
- Develop programs tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of residents in Memory Care.
- Ensure personalized Memory Boxes are established for each resident.
- Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to support activities and outings.
- Update and maintain resident service plans reflecting individual needs and abilities.
- Exhibit the ability to manage and respond appropriately to resident behaviors.
- Communicate with healthcare providers regarding residents' health status as needed.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive resident documentation.
- Assist residents in scheduling medical appointments and transportation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of medication administration.
- Stay informed about state regulations and community policies.
- Assist in the orientation and training of resident care staff.
- Evaluate and manage resident care staff performance.
- Understand and implement the community's fire safety procedures.
- Conduct departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Address resident and family concerns related to non-clinical matters.
- Maintain a courteous and friendly demeanor with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Experience or training in a similar environment is preferred.
- MedTech certification is essential.
- A general understanding of and compassion for the needs of seniors.
- Experience with Alzheimer's and memory-impaired residents is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a supportive environment without posing safety or health risks.
- Capability to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
